          Water Sign presents you with an ambient space, filled with shimmering guitars, cascading flutes and haunting vocalizations. You may notice that two of the pieces (Phoenix Rising and Treaties), continue the Southwestern/American Indian influence that was first heard on Chris' Quilted Sky CD, with the wooden flutes, the big drums and the Voices of Native America echoing off the high canyon walls.

          These long-form compositions allow for the unhurried evolution of the groove, the slow rising of the passion, building to the climax, the denouement and then the gentle afterglow. Finally, it fades to black, through the many shades of gray...
